We realize that one personalization design does not fit all. That’s why our graphic designer created 6 unique personalization templates exclusively for our canvas pilots map. Make the map your own by including your name, your airplanes tail number, a favorite saying or quote about flying or whatever you want! Select the option you like best from the drop down menu above and enter your text in the designated box. Be sure to specify if you want something added, removed or changed from the design you choose. A pin legend (as seen in options 3, 5 & 6) can be added or removed from any option. Keep an eye out on your email (and spam folder) the next few days in case we have some questions about your personalization.

Option 1 - Airplane depicted is a Cessna Skyhawk. We do have a Cirrus style airplane available as well. Leave a note if you'd like the Cirrus instead.
Option 2 - Specify if you'd like the box removed or the quote removed/changed.
Option 3 - Include a tail number for inside the propeller or it will be removed.
Option 4 - Include a name, aircraft type, tail number, and the year the pilot started flying. These can also be removed.
Option 5 - Text can be modified and a tail number can be added.
Option 6 - Include a name, aircraft type and a tail number. "Ready for Departure" can be modified or removed.

How it's made

All of our Push Pin Travel Maps are handcrafted in the USA. We take great pride in every single map we produce. Each 3-panel canvas map is personalized and printed in house using our high-end latex printer, which creates a vivid print that truly looks like a work of art! After the map is printed, the process starts by building 3 wooden frames. Next, we attach each frame to a sheet of hardboard for additional durability. We then affix sturdy foamcore board to each frame and then masterfully stretch the canvas panels over each frame with our slick stretching machine, while securing the canvas on the back to ensure nice, clean lines. A metal hanger is installed on the back of each panel so your map will arrive ready to hang right out of the box. Every Push Pin Travel Map is handcrafted in The United States of America (Denver, CO to be exact!). We take great pride in every map we produce. We start by professionally dry mounting your map to sturdy foamcore board. Our framing experts then place the map in the stylish frame of your choice, which we build in house. Next a wire hanging kit is installed, so your map arrives ready to hang right out of the box. We even include a nail and hanger so you can easily hang your map on the wall. Difference Between Paper and Canvas...

Our Paper Maps can be personalized with a metal plaque that is affixed to the map. Our Framed Canvas Maps, Gallery Wrapped Maps, Large 3 Panel Maps and Canvas Posters will have your personalization printed directly on the map itself, using one of our 9 unique personalization templates.

Additionally, our paper maps have a smooth finish and our canvas maps have a textured look and feel. Both paper and canvas maps are mounted to foamcore board, which is what holds the pins in place. Both versions are high quality and will last you a very long time. Basically, it comes down to a matter of personal preference!
