Yes! We are able to ship to most international destinations for an additional shipping fee. To get a shipping quote, simply add a map to your cart and use our “Shipping Rates Calculator”, located at the bottom of the shopping cart, to see available shipping options and rates. Do you ship to APO or FPO addresses?
Yes, we ship to APO/FPO addresses for an additional shipping fee.
Can I return my map?
Of course! If for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return your non-personalized items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Personalized paper and canvas maps are not eligible for return due to their custom nature. Please see our Shipping & Policies page for our full return policy and return instructions.
Where are your maps made?
We are extremely proud that all of our Push Pin Travel Maps are Made right here in the USA! Near Denver, Colorado to be exact. If you live locally, feel free to stop by our showroom to view our maps in person!
What are your maps printed on?
We currently sell maps printed on high quality paper and premium cotton canvas. They make the perfect gift for any anniversary, but particularly the 1st anniversary (Paper), 2nd anniversary (Cotton), or 5th anniversary (Wood {frames}).
What is the difference between your Canvas Maps and original Paper Maps?
Our Paper Maps can be personalized with a gold metal plaque that is affixed to the map. Our Framed Canvas Maps, Gallery Wrapped Maps and Large 3 Panel Maps will have your personalization printed directly on the map itself, using one of our 6 unique personalization templates. Additionally, our paper maps have a smooth finish and our canvas maps have a textured look and feel. Both paper and canvas maps are mounted to foamcore board, which is what holds the pins in place. Both versions are high quality and will last you a very long time. Basically, it comes down to a matter of personal preference!
What is a Pin Legend? Will my map include a Pin Legend?
A pin legend designates what each pin color on your map represents and can be added to your Canvas Map if you decide to add personalization to your order. A pin legend can be added to all 6 of our canvas personalization templates. An example of a pin legend can be seen in options 1, 2 and 6. The pin legend can say whatever you like, and we can accommodate anywhere from 1 - 6 legend items, and sometimes more depending on the text length of each legend item. Once you get the map, you would put a different pin color next to each legend designation and then pin the map accordingly in those colors. If you add more than 3 legend items, we recommend purchasing additional pin colors as your map will only come with 3 colors of push pins.
Our Paper Maps do not include a pin legend. However, some customers will include a legend on their personalized plaque. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
What personalization options are available?
The majority of our Push Pin Travel Maps can be personalized with your name, family name, business name, pin legend or a favorite quote.
Paper Maps are personalized with a metal plaque. Each plaque may contain up to 3 lines of centered text and up to 25 characters per line. If you have an idea for a plaque that is slightly longer, please contact us and we will see if we can accommodate your request.
Canvas Maps are personalized directly on the map itself by selecting one of our 6 awesome personalization templates at checkout. Learn more about Canvas map personalization.
Please note: Personalized maps may not be returned or exchanged. Please double check all spelling and capitalization for your personalization request as what you enter during checkout will be exactly what you will receive on your map. What comes with my map?
All of our framed and gallery wrapped push pin maps will arrive ready to hang on the wall with 150 push pins and appropriate hanging hardware.
What color push pins come my map?
All of our maps are shipped with a set of 150 total push pins in a mixture of Red, White & Black for pinning your travels. If you are a frequent traveler or you would like other colors, or uniquely shaped pins, we do offer additional pins.
Assign each pin color on your map however you would like! A few ideas are: Places Visited, Planned Trips, Bucket List Destinations. Another option is to assign a different color for each traveler in your family. You could also use the pins to track where family members live or your family’s ancestral roots. The map on our wall has a color for His, Hers, and Our Travels Together. The options are endless!
Can I order additional push pins after I receive my map?
Definitely! You can order additional sets of red, white and black pins here. If you only need a single color of push pins, you can find those here.
Are your maps laminated? Do they have glass on the front?
No, our maps are not laminated as we feel the high gloss would make them harder to read and pin. Instead, they are printed on high quality paper or premium canvas.
None of our maps have any glass covering them as this would prevent you from pinning your map.
What frame options are available?
At this time, we carry 8 standard frame profiles and 6 premium frame options. Our premium frames are currently only listed with our Canvas maps. Please contact us if you would like a premium frame added to your paper map. For a close up and more information about each individual frame option, click here.
What sizes do you offer?
All of our framed World & US maps are only available in one size. The map itself measures 24” by 36”, while the framed dimensions are 27.5” by 39.5”. Many of our regional/state/country map titles have different dimensions, so please check the listing details of each map for correct sizing information.
Our Gallery Wrapped maps are 24” by 36” in size and our Large 3 Panel maps are 36” by 54”.
Can I purchase an unframed map?
Yes! We offer unframed DIY Map Kits, for all of our paper maps. The DIY kit comes with the map, shipped rolled in a tube, 150 pins, a personalized plaque, and instructions on how to mount and frame the map yourself. DIY kits on canvas may be special ordered (for some map titles) by contacting us at info@pushpintravelmaps.com.
Do your world maps show the borders of the United States?
Yes, all of our world maps show the outlines for all 50 US states. However, not all world maps have each US state named. Each map listing has a close-up picture of the US portion of the map to give you a better idea on the level of detail and if the states are labeled. Please contact us if you have any questions about which maps have all US states labeled.
Can I get a map of a specific area, such as a single US city or State? Can you make custom maps?
We currently only have state maps for California, Colorado and Hawaii. At this time, we are not able to offer additional state maps or area specific maps. However, we do have plans in the future to add more State maps, so check back with us or sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date on our map offerings.
Unfortunately, we are not able to make custom maps.
