After all, your vacation will become solely what you want to do! Explore some of the best first-time solo travel destinations and start planning a trip with yourself!


Cliffs of Moher, IrelandIreland has a lot to offer solo travelers. From gorgeous remote villages filled with some of the most welcoming folk in the world to jaw-dropping coastline and ancient castles around every corner (over 30k castles are scattered around the country), Ireland has something for everyone. The Emerald Isle is a beautiful and safe travel destination for solo travelers. If you want to experience wild beauty in Ireland, head to County Donegal or The Dingle Peninsula. And don't forget to pack your camera!


Australian OutbackAustralia is one of the easiest destinations to travel alone. With easy transport links and a high standard of hostels available, combined with thousands of miles to adventure, Australia makes an excellent choice for any solo traveler. Check out the raw outback at Kakadu National Park for a few days then head to the East Coast to explore sunny surfer towns and The Great Barrier Reef, the gem of Queensland. Go scuba diving or snorkeling in the gorgeous, sparkling waters and gaze upon the plethora of marine life. Key West

From bike riding or riding in a tuk-tuk among gorgeous scenery to viewing beautiful sunrises and snorkeling among dolphins, there is no shortage of things to experience. Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor Wat, one of the largest religious monuments in the world, and a site you simply must see. While in Siem Reap, hit up Pub Street to hang out with other backpackers and swap travel stories over a pint of cold beer.
