The Philippines is an exotic island destination with over 7,000 tropical islands. This country is paradise for those who want to explore crystal blue waters and white sand beaches. But there are things to do for more than the beach bums in the Philippines. Every traveler can find something to do here, from mountain biking to scuba diving. The climate is tropical and subtropical year round, with a wet season during October. Below are some of the most exciting places to travel in Philippines in the month of October for a monsoon retreat. The temperatures are typically around 77 to 80 during September and October, making it a beautiful time of year to visit.

Chocolate Hills, Bohol

Camiguin Island

Vigan Ilocos Sur

This little vintage European-style town is a fun place to visit, where you will be teleported back in time to old-world 16th century charm. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a few heritage museums as well as an array of places to try out delicious Ilocano food!

Cebu City

If you visit here, you should surely make time to see the Cebu Taoist Temple, which is a serene and peaceful place located atop a mountain that offers a breathtaking bird’s eye view of the city.
