Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

If you're not afraid of heights and you're looking for some breathtaking views, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is something to add to your list. This is the world's largest tram car, rotating and traveling over two and a half miles along the cliffs of Chino Canyon. The tramway brings you to the gorgeous wilderness of Mt. San Jacinto State Park, where you'll be dropped off at the Mountain Station, which reaches a whopping 8,526 feet in elevation. Here you'll find restaurants, a natural history museum, observation decks so you can really take in the view, over 50 miles of hiking trails, and much more. Even if you are afraid of heights, it's worth it to try something scary and outside of your comfort zone. Besides, you might be surprised! And come on, the views are totally worth it.

Joshua Tree National Park

Known for it's twisted, bristled Joshua Trees and rugged rock formations, Joshua Tree National Park is a must-see when visiting Palm Springs. Straddling the Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert, there is not any part of this national park that isn't breathtaking or interesting to see.
